Brading Roman Villa is one of the finest Roman sites in the UK. Our award-winning Visitor Centre and Museum offers a unique insight into Roman life in Britain from beautifully preserved mosaic floors to an extensive collection of Roman archaeology.

Take the A3055 from Ryde to Sandown. After leaving Brading turn right 300 metres past the traffic lights, into Morton Old Road, then follow the signs to Brading Roman Villa.

Travelling by bus

Travelling by bus

Take the Southern Vectis Bus Service Number 3 from Ryde or Sandown and ask the driver for Brading Roman Villa. Follow the signs after alighting.

Travelling by train

Travelling by train

Take the Island Line train service to Brading Station, then walk through The village towards Sandown and follow the signs to Brading Roman Villa after the Yarbridge crossroads.

Wheelchair Accessible

The Museum is fully wheelchair accessible. A limited number of adult wheelchairs are available and may either be booked in advance by telephoning 01983 406223 or borrowed on the day by asking a member of staff at the front desk. Wheelchair-accessible toilets are available.

Baby Changing Facilities

Wheelchair-accessible baby changing facilities are available.

Assistance Dogs

Guide dogs, hearing dogs and assistance dogs are welcome throughout the Museum.
