Peter lives on the Isle of Wight near Ryde. He has a small studio and gallery space at The People’s Gallery, at 28 High Street, Ryde. Peter regularly exhibits with the Isle of Wight Art Club and with The Ryde Art Collective (TRAC) as well as at other venues on the Island and on the mainland.
Peters paintings are an attempt to capture the ever changing atmospheric effect of light on the land and sea. The pictures in this exhibition are created with soft pastel, some being painted en plein air whilst others have been made in the studio from his pencil and watercolour sketches.
